A Privacy-Preserving Symptoms Retrieval System with the Aid of Homomorphic Encryption and Private Set Intersection Schemes

This work presents an efficient and effective system allowing hospitals to share patients’ private information while ensuring that each hospital database’s medical records will not be leaked; moreover, the privacy of patients who access data also protected. We assume thread model hospital’s security is semi-honest (i.e., curious but honest), hired a trusted department administrator manage from other hospitals. With help Homomorphic Encryption- Private Set Intersection -related algorithms, our proposed protects patient privacy, allows physicians obtain across hospitals, prevents threats such as troublesome insider attacks man-in-the-middle attacks.
